Photocatalytic gas-phase water splitting has been demonstrated to occur with UV and visible light with GaN:ZnO catalyst loaded with Rh-Cr mixed oxide using a μ-reactor. The μ-reactor is a useful device that allows studying reaction mechanisms and catalysts performance.
