Most studies on SnO2 nanostructures were based on the assumption of single morphologies and crystal structures over bulky structures. When it comes to 1D nanostructures like nanobelts, sensing signals from those finite edge side with different crystal orientations may prove to be distinct from those from solo infinite bulky planar surfaces.
