We report the synthesis, structural characterization, and catalytic properties of HY zeolite-supported rhodium complexes incorporating different ligands. One of the main goals has been to understand how the nature of ligands effects the structure, electronic state, and catalytic properties of Rh in hydrogenation of alkenes at the molecular level.
