This investigation focuses on the role of isocyanates species observed spectroscopically during reduction of NO_X by CO and C₃H₆ on model NO_X storage/reduction catalysts. Isocyanates have been suggested as integral reaction intermediates, but evidence supporting this claim is still controversial and our research focuses on addressing this issue.
