This investigation focuses on the role of isocyanates species observed spectroscopically during reduction of NOX by CO and C3H6 on model NOX storage/reduction catalysts.  Isocyanates have been suggested as integral reaction intermediates, but evidence supporting this claim is still controversial and our research focuses on addressing this issue.
