The hydrogen release kinetics, thermodynamics and reversibility of NaBH4 has been remarkably improved by confinement in nanoporous carbon. The nanocomposites releases hydrogen at 150 °C against 470 °C for bulk NaBH4 and unlike the bulk it is partially reversible at relatively mild condition of 60 bar H2 and 320 °C.
