P-Mo-50 Screening of highly active Pd-M catalysts for oxygen electro-reduction by oxygen binding energy computed with trimer cluster model

Palladium-based bimetallic electro-catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in acidic media were designed computationally and tested experimentally using combinatorial methods for 8 metals. The combination of theoretical and experimental approaches suggests easy and time saving method to fing the high active metal alloys in ORR.
