Nearly monodisperse Fe and Ni alloy nanoparticles with a diameter of ~2 nm were synthesized using 4th generation dendrimers. Particles were characterized using UV-Vis spectroscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy and Temperature-Programmed Reduction techniques. The catalytic activity of the synthesized nanoparticles in methanol steam reforming is presented.
