In this paper the catalytic behavior of a series of metal incorporated hydrotalcite (HT) materials for the selective oxidation of primary O–H bonds of glycerol was reported. The relationships between structure, texture and the catalytic activity for glycerol oxidation over CuAlMg HT materials are compared with other transition metal-containing HT-materials.
