Perovskites ceramic membranes can successfully separate oxygen and nitrogen at appropriate flux rates in partial oxidation of methane. The paper discusses how the modification of the preparation method and the composition of the perovskite membranes may improve the chemical stability of these materials under  partial oxidation of methane reaction conditions.
