We describe novel tools for preparation and high-throughput activity characterization of Composition Spread Alloy Film combinatorial sample libraries. We apply the tools to characterization of H2 dissociation activity and surface segregation throughout ternary Pd100-x-yAuxCuy composition space. The approach enables rapid determination of composition-activity relationships for catalyst optimization and fundamental understanding.
