OE34 A Novel Well-mixed Reactor for the Study of Catalytic Reactions and Amenable to Use in High Throughput Arrays

A small, well-mixed reactor, amenable to use in high throughput arrays (HTCSTR) has been developed for testing whole catalyst pills in gas-phase reactions.  The prototype reactor has an ideal well-mixed residence time distribution and gas-solid mass transfer rates superior to older Berty and Carberry reactor styles.
