P-Tu-53 Conversion of Triglycerides and Fatty Acids to Hydrocarbons over Supported Nickel Catalysts

The catalytic decarboxylation of triglycerides and fatty acids to hydrocarbons has been investigated. In the presence of H2, supported Ni catalysts have been found to display good activity for the production of linear alkanes.
