The objective of this investigation is to learn more about the bulk and surface aspects of the Cr2O3*Fe2O3 catalyst system during WGS reaction conditions, which has never been reported, by employing Raman, IR, EXAFS and XANES operando spectroscopy. Insights into the reaction mechansim are also investigated.
