The present study addresses the influence of zeolite pore size/shape on conversion of biomass into aromatics. Moreover, designing strategies of ZSM-5 catalyst by enhancing diffusion properties and varying acid site density were presented. The results in this paper will be valuable for development of new zeolite catalysts for biomass conversion.
